Dear (aspiring) scout,
Welcome to 360 Scouting’s first newsletter. In the future, we will send occasional updates about becoming a better football scout.
We are constantly looking for new scouts as we help a growing number of professional football clubs. If you haven’t seen it, the following application round will open on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024. You will receive all the necessary information on that day if you have applied.
Launching our first course: Video Scouting Insights
In the last few years, we’ve seen how many people have the ambition to start working as a (remote) video scout. With our application procedures, we’ve been offering a unique pathway into football. However, due to the high number of participants and the limited number of clubs we cooperate with, we can only take on board about 1%. The other 99% of aspiring scouts also have a lot of ambition and potential. That’s why we have created a football scouting course.
Our course, ‘Video Scouting Insights,’ is designed to help you become a better video scout by mastering the most critical concepts of football scouting.
Key features of ‘Video Scouting Insights’
This course is designed to enhance your knowledge as a scout. But it is not only theory; we will help you apply that knowledge through practical scouting tasks and feedback. You will master three essential concepts of video scouting: (1) understanding football actions, (2) player roles within a team, and (3) effective reporting.

Course overview
Here’s what you can expect:
Interactive Learning. Each session is limited to 12 participants to ensure interaction and personalized attention.
Three online lectures. Comprehensive lectures delivered by an industry expert covering three key aspects of video scouting.
Practical application. Implement your newfound knowledge by performing real-life scouting tasks.
Individual feedback. After completing each scouting task, you will receive personalized feedback to help you improve.
Course schedule
We have various start dates available, with sessions beginning at the end of July, August, and September. Every course has three lectures, starting at 8 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST). When you enroll, you can pick the course that best suits your schedule.
July/August on Mondays. The dates are 29 July, 12 August, and 26 August (only one spot is left).
August/September on Wednesdays. Dates: 28 August, 11 September and 25 September.
September/October on Sundays. Dates: 29 September, 13 October and 27 October.
